Amanda Rasmussen
Family Committee
Hi! My name is Amanda Rasmussen and I have really enjoyed my time so far in MBASA and watching my husband Ben grow in the MBA program in the Entrepreneurship track. We have an 18 month old girl and we are expecting our next child this upcoming year. Prior to becoming a mom, I worked as a pediatric oncology nurse up at Primary Children’s Hospital which I loved, but now I really enjoy being a stay at home mom. I love exploring lots of different hobbies but I especially enjoy golf, rock climbing, watching UofU football (yes I’m a little out of place here), and reading. Most of all I love spending every day watching my little girl explore the world which is why I am excited to be on the family committee for this next year.
Megan Pope

My name is Megan Pope! I was born and raised in Springville, UT. I met my husband, Collin, at a Stake Youth Fireside the summer before 9th grade! We were friends all through high school and once he got a girlfriend (not me) our senior year I got jealous and realized just how much I liked him! I waited my turn though and got him in the end. I served a mission in the freezing tundra of northern Alberta. I got my bachelors degree from BYU in nursing and now work full time as a labor and delivery nurse at Utah Valley Hospital. I have two little boys, Calvin (3), and Hudson (1). We keep ourselves busy with library reading times, swimming, and Thanksgiving Point. I personally enjoy running, exercising, planning parties, reading (would love to talk books with you), cooking, and baking. I am excited to get to know more of the members of MBASA!
Eugenia C. Schulz
GOTHE Chair
Hello! My name is Eugenia C. Schulz and I will be working as GOTHE's President this year! I'm so excited to work with friends in this commute, and help BYU's families as well as the community. I have been married for 15 years to my best friend Jose Luis. We have three amazing children, Julia (14), Gaston (11), and Erick (9). We are all from Argentina, but have moved a lot in the past few years including living in Paraguay for 5 years. In 2022 we came to Provo so my husband can study in the MBA program at BYU. He is now a second year student! Time went so fast these last few months, I can not believe we have only one year left of this adventure before we start a new one.
I love spending time with family and friends, reading (some of my favourites are Jane Austen, Alejandro Dumas, Nancy Bush, and James Clear), knitting, craftin
Liesel Vance

Hi! I’m Liesel Vance. I’m excited to be the head of the athletics committee this year! My husband, Nate, is a 2nd year MBA (finance). We have been married for 6 years and we have two little energetic boys, Peter and Theo.
I work for a tax software company, TaxHawk, as a product developer and I love it! I also love pickleball, flower arranging, the beach, skiing, and sushi - just to name a few things.
I grew up in North Carolina and my husband grew up in Spanish Fork, so I’m curious to see if the MBA will take us out of Utah. Either way, I’m excited for the opportunities that lie ahead of us!

Holiday Committee
Hello everyone! I am co-chair for the holiday committee, we'll be planning the activities for Halloween, Christmas, etc.
My husband and I just celebrated our 14th anniversary this May. We have 5 kiddos ages 1-11, all born in Michigan. After working as a Design Engineer at Toyota for the past 10 years, we decided to pivot into business marketing. The abrupt decision to uproot our family to pursue this path has been filled with trials, but through them we've received compensatory blessings of peace, joy, and direction. We have been thrilled with the growth we have all experienced!
MBASA has been an amazing community to be part of, and a huge source of joy and growth for me.
I enjoy trying out new recipes, listening to audiobooks, playing board games, watching documentaries and period dramas, and any reason to gather with friends! Getting a pedicure is my favorite "me time" activity. My kids love park hopping, Minecraft, legos, just dance, and playing board games.
I look forward to meeting each of you!
Kristy Nzojibwami

Hi! My name is Kristy Nzojibwami and I am head of the Marketing Committee this year. My family and I moved here from Canada last year for the program and have loved our experience so far. My husband Ben is in the HR track. We have three kiddos who keep us smiling and on our toes at the same time. I usually work as a nurse but am staying home with our children right now and working on furthering my own education as well. I love learning and meeting new people which is part of why I fell in love with MBASA!
Last year was a year of growth for our family but it certainly came with a lot of growing pains. I was so thankful I had MBASA through it all. I had a group of people who understood a bit what I was going through, new friends when I didn't have many, and opportunities to learn and try some new things.
I love chocolate chip cookies, movie nights, soda runs, fresh flowers, friends, guacamole, and those amazing little peanut butter cups from Trader Joes :) I am so excited to get to know each of you over the next year!! Welcome to MBASA!
