Field Trip to the Discovery Museum

In January we had the fun opportunity to take a field trip to the Children's Gateway Museum in SLC. Parents were FREE and children were $5 and we had 2 hrs to explore the museum. We had kids come from ages 0-5 years and everyone had a lot of fun.

We started on the first floor playing with balls and climbing through a honeycomb maze and then moved into the construction, house and store section where the kids enjoyed building, setting up their home and shopping for food.

We finished the first floor by making mazes in the water for balls, riding a horse and exploring a garden. The littlest kids in the group enjoyed the baby only play area which had toys and things to climb on and push around.

Overall, both parents and kids had a wonderful time and it was definitely worth the drive or train ride up to Salt Lake City!
